Please measure in a quiet and relaxed state. Both left and right limbs can be measured.
The cuff should be placed at the same level as the animal’s heart. If this is not possible, use the following correction methods to correct the measurement results: If the cuff is higher than the level of the heart, 0.75 MMHG (0.10 KPA) should be added to the displayed value for every centimeter difference; if the cuff is lower than the level of the heart, For each centimeter difference, 0.75 MMHG (0.10 KPA) should be subtracted from the displayed value.
Use an appropriately sized cuff for the animal, ensuring that the mark is just above the appropriate artery. Make sure that the cuff is not too tight around the limb, otherwise it may cause discoloration of the distal limb or even ischemia.
The cuff must be completely wrapped around the limbs, otherwise, please choose a suitable size cuff. When the animal is a small animal, please select the small cuff mode.
Turn on the alarm, when the blood pressure measurement result is higher than the high limit or lower than the low limit, the instrument will warn with a red font and sound a physiological alarm.
